Zachary Rose, Psy.D.
Founder & Clinical Director — Clinical & School Psychologist
Dr. Rose is the founder and Clinical Director of Daffodil Psychology. With over a decade of experience working with children and their families in schools and in private practice, Dr. Rose brings a warm and approachable demeanor to the therapy space. Dr. Rose's specialties include the treatment and diagnosis of Autism (ADOS-2 trained), behavior management, parent training, strategy-tailoring for ADHD and Anxiety, and school-based consultation and advocacy. Dr. Rose and his wife (also a Psychologist) just welcomed their newborn, Summer, in July of 2025. They have a dog, Oats, who brings morale boosts to the family, as needed. Dr. Rose enjoys cooking, listening to music, playing the guitar, and golfing.
Eileen Fusco, Psy.D.
School Psychologist & Clinician with Limited Permit
Dr. Fusco is a tenured school psychologist with nearly a decade of experience in the Great Neck School District. She has worked across all school levels and specializes in supporting children and adolescents, particularly those with Autism and ADHD. Dr. Fusco uses a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and often incorporates games, creative activities, and play-based techniques to help children feel comfortable and engaged. She also works closely with families and educators to support emotional regulation, social skills, and academic success. Outside of work, Dr. Fusco enjoys time with her husband and joyful 6-year-old daughter in Westchester, NY, along with fitness, the beach, reading, football, close friends, and two cats, Zuzu and Voodoo.
Samantha Napolitano, Psy.D.
School Psychologist & Clinician with Limited Permit
Dr. Napolitano proudly received her Psy.D. in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University. She has a passion for helping people work towards becoming the best versions of themselves through all of life’s developmental stages, including adolescence, emerging adulthood, and even the transition into parenthood. She consistently utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and strategies to assist in reducing negative symptoms and increasing positivity. Dr. Napolitano has a wide range of experience with patients’ varying needs and diagnoses, which has enabled her to master the skills necessary to provide effective intervention across many stages of life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going for long outdoor walks, finding ways of living a healthier and clean lifestyle, supporting loved ones in their perinatal journey, and taking spin classes on her Peloton bike!
Alyssa Feld, Psy.D., NCSP
School Psychologist, & Clinician with Limited Permit
Dr. Feld is a therapist with a limited permit in New York, trained in cognitive behavioral therapy. She provides diagnostic assessment and therapy for children and adolescents, with particular expertise in autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Dr. Feld takes a collaborative, evidence-based, and compassionate approach to helping people better understand themselves and thrive. She has extensive experience working with neurodivergent children and teens, as well as supporting their families through challenges and transitions. Dr. Feld earned her Psy.D. in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University and completed advanced clinical training at Northwell Health’s Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. In addition, she is both a New York State–certified and nationally certified School Psychologist. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, staying active through fitness, and spending time outdoors.
Jane Shnayder, Psy.D.
School Psychologist, & Clinician with Limited Permit
Dr. Shnayder received her Psy.D. in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University. She has worked across schools, hospitals, and community settings, providing diagnostic assessments and evidence-based therapy for a wide range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and disruptive behavior disorders. Grounded in a cognitive-behavioral framework, Dr. Shnayder draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches and takes a strengths-based approach to highlight and build upon each child’s unique abilities. She is especially passionate about helping children strengthen their emotion regulation, problem-solving, and social skills and giving them the tools that foster confidence and resilience. She finds joy in supporting children as they grow, while guiding families through challenges with empathy and care. Her goal is not only to address difficulties, but also to empower children and families to recognize their strengths and thrive. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Janine W. Rose, Ph.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist, School Psychologist, & Clinical Supervisor
Dr. Rose is a veteran school and clinical psychologist with over 40 years of experience. With three children (now adults) of her own, she has the unique perspective of both school- and home-life, and what’s important when facilitating healthy growth! Dr. Rose received her PhD from Hofstra University and was a School Psychologist in the Rockville Centre School District, reserving time after work for therapy to meet with adults, young adults, children, and families, with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Within the last four years and alongside retirement from the schools, Dr. Rose has supervised PhD and PsyD students at Hofstra, guiding them through psycho-educational evaluations for all ages, and is currently an adjunct professor and CPSE chairperson. Dr. Rose is ADOS-2 trained, and specializes in utilizing her advanced acumen in the field with a warm and professional approach. Dr. Rose loves the color pink, and enjoys spending time with her family, including her new granddaughter!
Samantha Preston, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist, School Psychologist, & Evaluator
Dr. Preston is a licensed psychologist specializing in comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. With expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) & the ADOS-2, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and learning disabilities, Dr. Preston is dedicated to helping families better understand their loved one’s strengths and challenges. She earned her doctorate in psychology from Hofstra University and currently works as a school psychologist, where she collaborates with educators and families to support student success.
Kayla Cusano, M.S.
Outreach, Media, and Resource (OMR) Coordinator — Psy.D. Candidate
Kayla is a PsyD doctoral candidate in School-Community Psychology at Hofstra University. She has experience working with children with challenges including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other social-emotional or behavioral concerns. Kayla continues to build expertise to support children and their families to foster growth and well-being. Outside of her academic and clinical work, Kayla enjoys staying active through exercise, exploring new travel destinations, and discovering new restaurants.
Oats
Rose Family Dog
Oats is a 4-year-old adorable cockapoo who, while not a certified therapy dog (too jumpy and friendly), is an indescribably perfect pet. If dogs could become licensed psychologists, Oats would be the first. He enjoys just about any food imaginable, playing with his various toys, and any human!
