Dr. Cusano is a Certified School Psychologist and Limited Permit Clinician. She graduated with her PsyD from Hofstra University. Dr. Cusano has experience working with children with challenges including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other social-emotional or behavioral concerns. Kayla continues to build expertise to support children and their families to foster growth and well-being, as she works as a full-time School Psychologist. Kayla was named the 2025 New York Association of School Psychologists (NYASP) Ted Bernstein Award Recipient for Hofstra’s PsyD program. Outside of her academic and clinical work, Kayla enjoys staying active through exercise, exploring new travel destinations, and discovering new restaurants.
