Katie Grennen Yamond is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Siena College and Master of Social Work from Fordham University. She has had the privilege throughout her career of supporting individuals in both medical and school settings, first as a medical social worker before transitioning into education, where she has worked with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. She currently works full-time as a middle school social worker, helping students navigate the social, emotional, and academic challenges that come with adolescence. With a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach, she believes parents are the experts on their children, and lasting progress happens when everyone works as a team. Katie loves spending time with her husband and three children, exploring new adventures together, playing tennis, or enjoying time with family and friends.
