Janine Rose, PhD

Licensed Psychologist & Certified School Psychologist

Dr. Rose is a veteran school and clinical psychologist with over 40 years of experience. With three children (now adults) of her own, she has the unique perspective of both school- and home-life, and what’s important when facilitating healthy growth! Dr. Rose received her PhD from Hofstra University and was a School Psychologist in the Rockville Centre School District, reserving time after work for therapy to meet with adults, young adults, children, and families, with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Within the last four years and alongside retirement from the schools, Dr. Rose has supervised PhD and PsyD students at Hofstra, guiding them through psycho-educational evaluations for all ages, and is currently an adjunct professor, CPSE chairperson, and supervisor at our practice. Dr. Rose is ADOS-2 trained, and specializes in utilizing her advanced acumen in the field with a warm and professional approach. Dr. Rose loves the color pink, and enjoys spending time with her family, including her new granddaughter!
