Jane Shnayder, PsyD

Certified School Psychologist & Limited Permit Clinician

Dr. Shnayder received her Psy.D. in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University. She has worked across schools, hospitals, and community settings, providing diagnostic assessments and evidence-based therapy for a wide range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and disruptive behavior disorders. Grounded in a cognitive-behavioral framework, Dr. Shnayder draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches and takes a strengths-based approach to highlight and build upon each child’s unique abilities. She is especially passionate about helping children strengthen their emotion regulation, problem-solving, and social skills and giving them the tools that foster confidence and resilience. She finds joy in supporting children as they grow, while guiding families through challenges with empathy and care. Her goal is not only to address difficulties, but also to empower children and families to recognize their strengths and thrive. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
